Still, the Fragments Move was commissioned in 2024 by Fulcrum Arts. Engaging with the exhibition Energy Fields, the work follows ocean waves – as travelling vibrations – from wind disturbances on the surface to their entanglements with rocks, pebbles and sand grains at the shore. Drawing upon elements of wave dynamics in its compositional form, the work plays with the temporal scales of geological processes and the dynamism and vibrancy within them.
