From the Hilltop is a sound installation work that listens to the music of the wind through a telegraph pole and a fence, made from a single field recording. Krafla Geothermal Power Station is an ambisonic sound installation made with recordings from Krafla/Hverir area in Iceland. This work explores the liveliness of this environment across all perspectives and scales – from the tiny bubbles on the fizzing surfaces of sulphur pools to the bird calls echoing across the lava field, the inner sounds of hots water pipes to the low drone and broadband hiss that fill the air around.
